Perhaps it is the result of Park Citys dedication to the arts, or maybe just the thought of enjoying a concert in the midst of breathtaking scenery and refreshing alpine temperatures. Either way, music lovers rejoice the summer season in Park City, as it means a whole new lineup of diverse sounds.

Here is the scoop on where to find great music nearly any day of the week this summer.

>> WEDNESDAY Mountain Town Music Community Concert Series at Deer Valley

On Wednesday evenings from 6-8 p.m., Deer Valley plays host to the popular Mountain Town Music Community Concert Series. Held at the resorts stunning outdoor amphitheater, the Community Concert Series brings out droves of locals and visitors, many of whom bring dinner picnics and beverages to enjoy during the show. >> THURSDAY Silver Star Café Plaza Palooza and Newpark Town Center

The Silver Star Café is a Park City institution! Located beneath the aspen thickets of Park City Mountain Resort, the restaurant hosts fantastic free concerts from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday nights. Be sure to arrive early and grab a bite to eat, or participate in a group cruiser bike ride at 5 p.m., hosted by Silver Star Sport. Newpark Town Center at Kimball Junction will host free concerts from 6-8 p.m. each Thursday evening in July and August. >> SATURDAY Canyons Concert Series

The Canyons once again is hosting a free, all-ages summer concert series beneath the resorts towering peaks each Saturday from 6-8:30 p.m., July 16-September 3. Given the series popularity, biking and carpooling are highly encouraged! For more information, please visit www.thecanyons.com.

>> SUNDAY Quarry Village Concert Series

Located off of I-80s Jeremy Ranch exit, Quarry Village is playing host to a series of Sunday night summer concerts beginning with Irish rock band Swagger on June 26. Shows are free and run from 7-9 p.m.

St Regis "Big Stars, Bright Nights" Series

The Deer Valley Music Festival

Deer Valley is the summer home of the Utah Symphony, which hosts a series of wonderful concerts each year.
