2.) Park City Winterfest - Commemorating the excitement and spirit of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, this giant ten day festival takes plce in January and includes numerous events such as the Freestyle World Cup Competition at the Deer Valley Resort, a Big Air Competition at The Canyons Resort, a snow sculpture competition, fireworks, concerts, and much more.

3.) Park City Wine & Food Festival - Featuring the finest in food, wine, and entertainment during this three-day event during July, the Classic features wine tastings and pairings, gourmet dinners, educational seminars and culinary competitions. 4.) Park City Arts Festival - In August, the Festival brings together more than 200 fine artists from across North America: performing artists, musical talent and street entertainment, plus fine foods from vendors, restaurants and fine chefs from throughout the county and state. It features three days of activities and events from a gallery and restaurant stroll to a children's area where young artists can whet their creative appetites.

 

5.) Fidelity Investments Park City Jazz Festvial - Also in August, the Park City Jazz Foundation is dedicated to promoting jazz music education and awareness with its signature production of the annual Park City Jazz Festival. 6.) Egyptian Theatre Company - The Egyptian Theatre is Park City's oldest theatre at 328 Main Street. This local favorite re-opened in 1926 to accommodate the traveling vaudevillians popular at the time. Since its debut, the stage has hosted melodramas, silent and sound movies, and stage performances. Today, the 266-seat house plays home to the Egyptian Theatre Company, which produces a wide selection of high quality professional shows from Broadway and off- Broadway, and the ever-popular Sundance Film Festival. The Egyptian Theatre Company's 2008 Season includes the sensual, decadent and dangerous Cabaret, the regional premiere of the rockin, side splitting Altar Boyz, and the heartfelt family musical THE MUSIC MAN for the holidays. Kimball Art Center - The Kimball Art Center is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 community art center that features exhibitions in three galleries, popular art events, and a comprehensive art education program. As one of Park City's cultural hub's, the Kimball's mission is to be an accessible arts resource, serving the entire community by promoting events, exhibitions, and educational opportunities. 8.) Park City Performing Arts Foundation / Eccles Center - Park City Performing Arts Foundation is a non-profit organization, dedicated to presenting world-class performances to the community. PCPAF is currently presenting its eleventh season of eclectic, nationally and internationally renowned performers at The George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Center for the Performing Arts. This summer, the organization will embark on its fifth season of large-scale concerts at Deer Valley Resort. The St. Regis Big Stars, Bright Nights Series, presented by Park City Performing Arts Foundation, runs from July through August at Deer Valleys Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater. In addition to Main Stage shows and the "Big Stars, Bright Nights" series, PCPAF is dedicated to introducing young people to the arts through free student outreach workshops, shows and demonstrations. Gates open 90-minutes before show time. Coolers are permitted a nine-inch chair height restriction in enforced, and cameras or recordings of any kind are strictly prohibited. Tour des Suds

Mountain Bike Hill Climb

 

Park City's 31st annual Tour des Suds mountain bike hill climb. This event will be held on Sunday, September 18th, 2011 and is a 7-mile mountain bike climb from City Park to the top of Guardsman Pass with a 2700' elevation gain. Participants are urged to don 'festive' costumes and celebrate the beginning of the fall mountain bike season in a spirited manner! Crazy costumes, crazy bikes is the concept and welcomed!

 

 

 

Time & Place: Start is located iin City Park, 1354 Park Avenue, Park City, UT  84060. Race starts at 10:00am. Pre-registered riders can pick up their race numbers at City Park starting at 8:00am to 9:30am.

Course & Distance: A mass start from City Park to the top of Guardsman Pass. The distance is a 7-mile hill climb on a single and double track trail, with a 2700' elevation gain.

Additional Information: The first 200 registered will receive custom Tour des Suds socks and lunch. After event/prizes, food and beverages will be available for all participants. The post race festivities will take place, in conjunction with the Park Silly Sunday Market, on the Town Lift Deck, located on Lower Main Street. Prizes for best costumes will be awarded.

On Wednesday evenings from 6-8 p.m., Deer Valley plays host to the popular Mountain Town Music Community Concert Series. Held at the resorts stunning outdoor amphitheater, the Community Concert Series brings out droves of locals and visitors, many of whom bring dinner picnics and beverages to enjoy during the show.
